What Does Trump Actually Want With Gaza

Trump has been banging on about ‘creating a new Gaza’ for some time now. What the fuck does he mean by this? Let’s dive in…

Trump said last week that the US is “committed to buying and owning Gaza”. He also said he may let other Middle Eastern nations help develop it.

Yesterday he said “Think of it as a big real estate site, and the US is going to own it.”

This news has not gone down well in the Middle East, with Saudi Arabia and Jordan stating they are not happy with Trump’s announcements. Trump will meet with the Jordanian leader tomorrow.

The UN has also said that Trump’s plan for the Strip would violate international law.

Trump has also claimed that Arab nations would agree to take in Palestinians after speaking with him and insisted that Palestinians would leave Gaza if they had a choice.

Trump seems pretty keen on this. But, will the Middle East be able to stop him is the real question here.
