The Secret Sauce
A.I market/ Nvidia dominance
Nvidia's latest financial results blew past expectations, earning $15 billion in profit from $26 billion in sales, mainly thanks to its data center business.
This segment, which makes chips for the booming AI industry, brought in $22.6 billion, a massive 427% increase from last year. The surge is linked to the release of OpenAI's GPT-4, which has driven up demand for AI chips.
Nvidia's CEO, Jensen Huang, described this shift as the start of a new industrial revolution. While Nvidia's gaming segment also grew, its main competitor AMD fell behind, earning $5.5 billion, highlighting Nvidia's dominance in the market.
