Trump Sues Co-Founders Of His Stock

Donald Trump is suing 2 co-founders of Trump Media. He claims they should lose their shares of the company for mismanaging his social media site.

The 2 men, Wes Moss and Andy Litinsky have already filed a suit against Trump in February, in order to prevent him from reducing their 8.6% stake in the company.

Their shares are valued at roughly $600m right now.

Trump’s lawyers said that the 2 guys being sued ‘failed spectacularly at every turn’. So why they were hired in the first place is a bit beyond me. Who the fuck even vetted these guys?

Apple Is Developing A Robot

After scrapping its smart car project, Apple ($AAPL) is working on a robot.

Specifically, they are working on home robotics. In particular, a personal robot which follows the owner around the home. It would be able to help owners with chores such as washing dishes.

A tabletop robot is also being designed, for video conferencing. It may even come with hands and a display that can move around the screen, to keep it focused on the face of its owner. Pretty damn cool.

These robots are still in the early stages of the designing phase, and Apple has not fully committed to the new project.

This doesn’t seem wholly surprising though, and seems to be a pretty logical field for Apple to start exploring options in.

Niagara Falls Declares State of Emergency

Fuck knows why. They’ve declared a state of emergency, even though nothing has happened yet!?

There will be a total solar eclipse on Monday (April 8). Officials estimate that this could lead to up to 1 million visiting Niagara Falls on that Monday. Given this, Ontario’s Niagara region has been put in a pre-emptive state of emergency.

Why is there all this hype around the sun and a waterfall? Don’t ask me, seems like some weird pagan shit.

Cohen Sees 4-Day Work Week Coming

Billionaire Steve Cohen says he expects that more business will move to the 4-day work week in the future. This is why, he said, he has made an investment into the PGA Tour.

Cohen, the owner of the New York Mets told CNBC ‘that fits into a theme of more leisure for people.’

He has stated that he believes there are many forces pushing the world toward fewer work days, including the growth of AI. He also stated how companies being more in favour of hybrid working meant that people were less productive on Fridays.

Cohen is probably right. People are definitely getting lazier. Maybe he’s right to invest in leisure opportunities.

Trudeau Admits Canada Is Being Overwhelmed By Mass Immigration

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stated this week that Canada has seen a ‘massive spike in temporary immigrants’. A spike which is ‘far beyond what Canada can absorb’. The percentage of temporary immigrants (whatever that means) has jumped from 2% of the population in 2017 to over 7.5% of the total population in 2024.

Canada had its fastest population growth in 66 years. Migrants make up 97% of all new residents.

Population growth can be a good thing, but on this scale? We’re not so sure this as having a positive effect on the economy, at least not as much as we are told it does.

CERN To Test Particle Accelerator During Solar Eclipse

No don’t ask me what a ‘particle accelerator’ is, but it does look pretty cool.

CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research) will test the world’s most powerful particle accelerator during the afore mentioned solar eclipse on April 8 in order to search for ‘invisible’ matter which apparently secretly powers our universe.

Pretty cool stuff. Guess we’ll have to wait and see what they find.
