Greece to introduce 6 day work week 🇬🇷 

While the whole world world was thinking, hey maybe the 5-day week isn’t working ? We should try 4. Greece said FUCK THAT. Make it 6!

Now don’t get me wrong the Greeks have had some magic ideas in the past. Gyros are the business. However, I’m hoping this latest innovation doesn't catch on !

New regulations came into effect this week, extending the standard 40-hour workweek to 48 hours for private businesses that operate 24/7. These unprecedented rules in the EU aim to stimulate the country's economy, which is just starting to recover from a decade-long downturn. 

Greece's business-friendly government says the move is necessary to address a skilled worker shortage and combat unpaid overtime. Meanwhile, labor unions denounced it as "barbaric."

This is pretty nuts. I wouldn’t be too please if I was living in Greece. Like, the government got the country into an economic depression and now expect the population to pick up the slack while they kick back ?

Back up to no good ! Paul and Nacy Pelosi are trading again, but don’t worry it’s definitly legal…. 🤥

The infamous traders purchasing approximately $1-$5 million in Broadcom (purchased 20 call options with a strike price of $800 and an expiration date of 6/20/25) and $1-$5 million in Nvidia (10,000 shares).

Additionally, Pelosi sold around $250,000 - $500,000 of Tesla and $500,000 - $1 million of Visa. These transactions were disclosed in her latest Periodic Transaction Report.

This week, their portfolio reached an all-time high. Estimates suggest she has made $23 million in the stock market this year. For context, her annual salary as the United States House of Representatives Speaker is $223,500. Her net worth has seen a dramatic increase since 2016, more than doubling from $93 million to $255.45 million. Not sus at all……

Listen it’s a tale as old as time. The rich get richer. What can you do. Try keep up I guess ?

Boeing on the ropes….. again ✈

This is honestly a joke. I can’t remember the last time Boeing was in the news for something slightly positive. If they where a boxer I’d be tossing in the towel. Every week it’s a new fuck up! There lawyers must be running on fumes.

The latest trouble for the company is new criminal charges that maybe brought against them by federal prosecutors. This stems from past crashes involving the 737 Max and accusations that Boeing deceived regulators.

If Boeing pleads guilty, they could face big fines, lose government contracts, and have financial troubles. Which they do not need as I’m sure that balance sheet is already looking pretty skint after the year they have had. Apparently making whistleblowers disappear isn’t cheap………

A plea deal might be offered, but victim families oppose it, wanting stricter penalties. Boeing insists it has followed previous agreements, but now faces a tough choice: admit guilt or go to trial.

Cannabis Industry to expand by 100bn by 2028

Well, the main reasons for growth is likely due to the increasing number of countries decriminalizing and legalizing cannabis, obviously. To add to this advanced technologies in cultivation and production enhance the quality and efficacy of these products, which has also contributed to the expected growth.

The facts show it too. Currently, 79% of Americans live in a county with at least one dispensary, and adult-use cannabis is legal in 24 states.

With this Technavio’s latest report shows that the global legal cannabis market is projected to grow by USD 100.61 billion from 2024 to 2028.

Satellite imagery shows China expanding spy bases in Cuba 🇨🇺🤝🇨🇳 

New satellite images suggest Cuba is upgrading intelligence capabilities at four military bases, likely with China's help, potentially enabling Beijing to spy on the United States.

Now, as always the Chinese and Cubans deny it and say the US is spreading miss information. I always find it hard to tell whose telling the truth in these spats. Especially since everyone is the bad guy! The story goes as follows.

The Washington-based Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) reported that recent construction at sites near Havana and a new site near the U.S. naval base at Guantanamo Bay which could enhance China's ability to monitor U.S. military activities and communications, if they are correct.

Jeff Bezos to sell another $5bn of Amazon shares

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos says he will sell another 25 million shares in the technology giant, worth nearly $5bn. It comes after the company's stock market value hit a record high on Wednesday. He also took a chunk of shares in Feb worth 8.5bn. That marked the first time since 2021 the egg had sold Amazon shares.

It makes him the world's second richest person, according to the Forbes Billionaires list, with an estimated net worth of around $214bn.

Must be nice hey ! Honestly can’t hate too much on it. He’s taking some profits at the top. Probably some good business. At least he’s getting some money back after he choked up $160 billion in his divorce. Another reminder the biggest investment you will make is the person you marry.
