Earnings
Nvidia…

Nvidia RTX 2060

Nvidia ($NVDA) shares pumped up 10% today to a record high as the company beat earnings and revenue estimates for Q1.

They also announced a 10-for-1 stock split in its report.

Q1 revenue came in at $26.04b compared with estimates of $24.65 billion. This is a phenomenal $1.5b earnings beat. Fucking crazy.

Shares passed $1,000 for the first time and are already up 111% this year.

This just goes to show that the demand for AI chips and data centers is not going anywhere. I love this stock, could well be my stock of the decade.

Israel Has Only killed 30-35% of Hamas Fighters

Israel Palestine conflict. Palestine flag. Pro-Palestine demonstrators take place in a rally calling for peace and the end to the Israeli occupation of Palestine. Oct. 13, 2023, in New York, Times Square.

According to US intelligence sources, only 30-35% of Hamas fighters have been killed, even though Israel has been fighting in Gaza for 7 months.

This news comes even though the reported death toll (in reality, it’s probably a hell of a lot more) in Gaza has reached over 35,000 dead, most of which are women and children.

Even worse, roughly 65% of Hamas’ tunnel infrastructure is still supposedly intact.

There are also said to be thousands of new Hamas members who have joined in recent months.

This all really begs the question, what the fuck are the Israelis doing? If this is true, it is embarrassing. Have they just been pissing about for the last 7 months?

Snap General Election Announced in UK

Working Class Uk GIF by GIPHY News

Rishi Sunak has announced a snap general election which will take place on July 4th.

Polls in the UK are suggesting a heavy upcoming defeat for the UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s Conservative Party.

This seems to be a convenient time to have it, as economic goals have been met in the UK recently. Sunak declared inflation was ‘back to normal’ in the UK following official figures showing inflation slowed to 2.3% in April.

The economy also grew 0.6% between January and March, and his controversial Rwanda legislation has also just made it through parliament.

Honestly, it is fair enough to try and have the election at a convenient time. He’s gonna need it. The left-wing Labour party is fucking the Conservatives up in the polls so it’ll be interesting to see if this timing helps. I fear it won’t…

Russia Tests Nukes Near Ukraine Due to ‘Western Threats’

push up russian GIF

On Tuesday, Russia confirmed it had started tactical nuclear weapons drills near the Ukrainian border. The Kremlin claims this is in response to ‘threats’ from the West. More specifically, the Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD) said that this is in ‘response to provocative statements and threats made by certain Western officials.’

Recently, some US and UK officials have been pushing for Ukraine to attack Russian soil directly more. In fact, US officials are now openly debating whether to allow pro-Kiev forces to utilize US-supplied missiles to attack Russia itself.

Zelensky has also launched an aggressive new lobbying campaign to push for deeper Western involvement in Ukraine.

It’s all fucking kicking off and this shit is escalating like mad. Is WW3 on the way?

Nearly 300 Boeing 777s at Risk of ‘Exploding’

Plane GIF by Lionsgate

As if it couldn’t get any worse for Boeing, the Daily Mail reported this week that nearly 300 Boeing 777s used by American Airlines and United have poor electrical insulation near its fuel tank which could cause ‘fire or explosion’.

Boeing is totally fucked. The CEO of the company, Dave Calhoun is preparing to step down towards the end of this year, and I don’t fucking blame him.

China Starts Large Drills ‘Surrounding’ Taiwan

new year taiwan GIF

It has only been a few days since Taiwan’s new president Lai Ching-Te was sworn into office. The Chinese military has decided to welcome him started 2 days of large-scale military drills around Taiwan today.

Reportedly, PLA ships and aircraft are now ‘surrounding’ Taiwan according to PLA statements.

Military spokesman Li Xi said this was all to test the combat capabilities of Chinese military. This is also a ‘stern warning’ to any ‘external forces’.

Taiwan’s new president asked China to stop their military threats towards Taiwan on Tuesday. These were some of his first words since becoming president.

These motherfuckers sure are horny for Taiwan huh. War seems more and more likely. It’s not looking good for Taiwan…

Thank you
Cheers boys

It’s been a long week, buy some FMC merch to reward yourself.
