VERSES AI Makes AGI Breakthrough for potential partnership with OpenAI

Throw it back to December 1st OpenAI stated:
“If a value-aligned, safety-conscious project comes close to building AGI before we do, we commit to stop competing with and start assisting this project.”
We just learned today… VERSES AI has MADE that breakthrough and addressed OpenAI’s partnership clause with an open letter stating:
“We believe VERSES qualifies for your assistance. In return, we offer our assistance to help ensure that general and superintelligence are developed and deployed in a safe and beneficial manner for all of humanity.”
Quick Lesson: There is AI, and then one step above you have AGI. It’s been a race among a few players to develop AGI (OpenAI, Google, Elon, and of course VERSES AI).
As of today, it looks like VERSES AI is in the lead, potentially landing a partnership with the Don of AI.
A small 137m market cap company among the biggest fish in the tech world.
This could be huge if OpenAI is true to its word.

VERSES AI has had a solid trading week up 16% on the week and 7% on the day of this news.
However, it only boasts a 107m (USD) valuation.
